I'll get Cherry Bang added when I have it in hand. Cranberry bang: 4c cranberries, chopped 3c sugar 2c vodka or gin I prefer vodka for bang as gin brings such strong (and distasteful, IMO) flavors to the mix. With Cherry Bang, the Bing Cherries manage to absorb most of the gin nastiness, but why start with less-than-optimal ingredients? Stuff all ingredients into a 3/4-gallon-or-larger container and seal. Agitate gently every few days until all sugar has disolved. After 3-4 weeks, filter liquid contents into another container and drink like your hangover depended upon it. =] The cranberries are quite edible. Cherry Bang: 1qt Gin or Vodka 2lb Sugar Bing Cherries Pour alcohol and sugar into a 1-gallon, preferably glass, container. Stuff with cherries (unpitted) until the liquid level rises near the top of the bottle. Seal and stash in a cool dark place for 4 months. Pour off (and drink, eventually) the liquid. I wouldn't mess with the cherries, especially if you used gin.
